VRA Nationally Certified for Investment Best Practices

On March 14, the Government Investment Officers Association (GIOA) recognized governmental entities whose investment policies uphold industry best practices. The VRA Board of Directors approved updates to VRA’s Investment Policy in June 2022.  Following those revisions, the VRA team submitted the Investment Policy to the GIOA for investment policy certification.  The GIOA certification process involves three investment professionals reviewing and scoring the investment policy to determine if the policy meets best practices.
